Our team is growing

In July we hired three new employees. Paul Kernstock joined our development team. For our production team we hired Rasmus and Marcel, who both will focus on the production of our prototypes and products. Welcome to PHI blades!

We moved into a new office

For the second time within a year we moved into a new office. Our old office in Schnackenburgallee 179 turned out to be too small. With the new office just next door in Schnackenburgallee 177, 2nd floor, we moved into an office that will allow us to further grow within the next month and years.

We offer four new job vacancies

PHI blades is searching for three new full time employees to implement our next development goals. You can find the job advertisements under the category “jobs” in the German version of this website. In detail we are looking for two carpenters, one engineer and also an intern.

PHI blades in the magazine “neue energie”

NeueEnergieLogo_k1The magazine “neue energie” published in May an article about new materials and technology trends for blades. Beside many other concepts our innovative technology has been explained briefly. We are proud that our technology has been presented together with many other promissing technologies as one of the possible solution for decreasing costs and for increasing the quality for future blades. You will find more on page 50.

Successfull milling performance test

Last month we have successfully tested the milling process – the key manufacturing step of our blade production. As you can see the speed and accuracy of the mill are astonishing. The mill is running at a speed of hundred meters per minute and can remove up to five centimeters in a single milling step. The surface and shape of the samples meet our product requirements precisely. In total all test cases have been successfully verified. Milling is not only impressive but also great fun.

PHI joins Autodesk Entrepreneur Impact Program

This doesn’t only offer 3 years of use of their toolset but also includes an absolutely excellent support. Especially the use of Inventor Professional and Autodesk Simulation Mechanical will help us answering some specific questions in the blade development process and strongly supports our work preparation.

The fact that Autodesk’s positive reply to our request into some Autodesk web form has taken no more than 3,5 days is also absolutely amazing. Thanks a lot to Autodesk!

Coverage on PHI blades in business journal Impulse

The start-ups have been selected based on an innovative business model, on targeting an attractive niche market, on a sound sales forecast and on being financed. PHI blades hired new employees

PHI blades is growing. We are very happy that we staffed all job vacancies last December. In total we employed with Janina Springborn an engineer, with Svetlana Kychenko a constructing engineer and with Sandria Schmidt a student trainee. We are very happy to have them on board.
